(Toronto) Immanuel Quickley will sign a five-year contract to stay with the Toronto Raptors, according to multiple reports.

Quickley intends to put his name to the bottom of a pact earning him US$175 million when the free agent market opens on Sunday.

This deal confirms that the 25-year-old point guard is an integral part of the Raptors’ young core. He was acquired from the New York Knicks in a major trade on December 30.

Quickley and Canadian RJ Barrett were sent to Toronto in return for OG Anunoby, Precious Achiuwa and Malachi Flynn.

Quickley maintained per-game averages of 17 points, 4.9 assists and 3.8 rebounds in the 2023-24 season.
