2025 International Hockey Tournament set to take place in Montreal and Boston

The 2025 4 Nations Face-Off is scheduled to kick off on February 12 at the Bell Centre in Montreal, as announced by NHL Commissioner Gary Bettman and NHL Players’ Association executive director Marty Walsh over the weekend.

The tournament will feature teams from the United States, Canada, Sweden, and Finland, with the first game between Team Canada and Team Sweden set to take place at Bell Centre. The tournament will also include doubleheaders and will eventually move to TD Garden in Boston for the final games.

A total of 23 NHL players from each national association will be selected to compete in the tournament, with games played according to NHL rules on NHL-sized rinks. The teams will earn points based on their performance in the round-robin format, with the top two teams advancing to the final.

The tournament is seen as a prelude to the 2026 Olympics and is expected to generate excitement among hockey fans worldwide.
