3 Injured, Including 4-Year-Old Girl, in Shooting at Hegewisch Home
In a shocking incident, three individuals, including a 4-year-old girl, were injured in a shooting at a home located in Chicago’s Hegewisch neighborhood. The tragic event took place around 5:25 p.m. in the 13400 block of South Carondolet Avenue.
Victims of the Shooting
According to the police report, the victims were inside the home when an unidentified assailant fired multiple gunshots from outside. The youngest victim, a 4-year-old girl, sustained a gunshot wound in her right leg. She was promptly taken to the hospital and is currently in stable condition. Additionally, a 23-year-old man was shot in his right flank and is being treated at the hospital in serious condition. The third victim, a 20-year-old woman, suffered a gunshot wound to her right shoulder but is fortunately in good condition.
