It’ll Be the first look in the AFC title game for the Bills as the 1993 year
The Buffalo Bills advanced to the AFC Championship with a win on the Baltimore Ravens on Saturday night and will face the winner of this Kansas City Chiefs and Cleveland Browns match, 17-3.
Buffalo and Baltimore both fought in a windy night in Orchard Park, N.Y. The two kickers Tyler Bass and Justin Tucker would overlook field goals throughout the match. The Bills would not breakthrough to the end zone before the next quarter.
The largest player in the game came in the third quarter. Taron Johnson intercepted a pass from Lamar Jackson and returned it 101 yards into the finish zone. It made the match 17-3, and insurmountable for the Ravens to return and win.
What also hurt was Jackson’s harm on another drive. The quarterback’s mind would hit the floor hard and he’d leave the match. He’d later be set to concussion protocol and also be made to remain out of this match. Tyler Huntley would arrive in but could not be the trigger that the offense required.
Allen completed 23-for-37 with 206 passing yards and the touchdown. Typically a fantastic runner, he had been held to six yards on the floor.
Huntley has been 6-for-13 with 60 passing yards and additional 32 rushing yards.
Marquise Brown directed Ravens receivers with four catches for 87 yards.
Gus Edwards and J.K. Dobbins every had 42 rushing yards.
It is the Bills’ first appearance in the conference championship match since the 1993 season. Buffalo defeated the Chiefs that lost into the Dallas Cowboys at Super Bowl XXVIII.
