ANCHORAGE, Alaska — Former Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin says that she tested positive for COVID-19 and is urging people to take action to guard from the coronavirus, like wearing masks in public.
“Through all of it, I see wearing that awkward mask inside in a bunch rather than only letting the newfound luxury of being incognito, but hope it is far better than doing nothing to impede down the spread,” Palin, the 2008 Republican vice presidential nominee, told People magazine.
“And history will show we Masked Singer people were masked prior to being concealed was trendy,” she stated in her announcement, referring to this TV series where she appeared.
It wasn’t apparent when Palin, 57, tested positive.
She explained her case reveals”anybody can grab this.”
“I strongly urge all to use common sense to prevent spreading this and each other virus on the market,” Palin said, in urging vigilance but not dread.
She said she advised”reprioritizing some private time and tools to make sure healthy a lifestyle as you’re able to produce so when viruses do strike, you’ve got at least a few armor to combat it.”
