A deputy at Virginia single-handedly lifted an undercover car to spare a girl trapped beneath.
The one-minute clip in the scene of the injury on May 7 then reveals Holt running into the automobile where one kid is yelling that his mum is stuck. The deputy helps another smaller kid from their vehicle, then he could be heard groaning because he lifts the automobile.
“The motorist was laying under the automobile with her mind pinned from the sunroof,” the sheriff’s office composed on Facebook.
Countless people have thanked Holt because of his support and also have called him a fanatic on social networking, WVEC-TV reports. Holt was honored with regional and local Top Cop Awards in February after he rescued two people from a burning home this past year.
“I am only a mean cop and you know, it is what we do. And considering doing something different is that you know, from the question,” Holt told the channel.
The sheriff’s office did not recognize the driver. The deputy said she is doing well.
