Olivia Rodrigo, a first-time nominee for the American Music Awards, has something to be proud of.
She is leading the 2021 nominations with seven, organizers announced on Thursday.
Rodrigo will be up for the most prestigious awards of the evening, including artist and new artist.
The Weeknd, a five-time AMA winner, is next to the teen star. He received six nominations this season. He was also nominated as artist of the Year, favorite music video, and favorite pop song.
Bad Bunny and Doja Cat each received five nominations.
The event will be broadcast live from the Microsoft Theater, Los Angeles, on Sunday 21 November at 8:00 PM EST/PST. It will also stream on Hulu the next day.
