ECUADOR and Brazil fought out a thrilling draw in World Cup qualifying. The visitors received incredible FOUR VAR ratings in their favor.

Ecuador is in third place, and they are very close to World Cup qualification.

Brazil was able to keep their unbeaten record by Casemiro early on.

To make matters worse, Alexander Dominguez was sent to Matheus Cunha for a high-boot.

Emerson Royal was a bit stupid, but things turned out to be a little better when the Brazilian received a second yellow for his clumsy challenge.

Alisson believed he had been given the third red card for high boots, but after a review by VAR, the referee decided to give him a booking.

Alisson struggled in the second period, when he misplaced the ball and allowed the hosts to score.

He was saved however by the whistle of the referee, as the linesman had flagged that the ball had been out of play.

VAR was called into action again when referee Wilmar Rolandan gave Ecuador a penalty. However, Raphinha’s decision was reversed after a review.

On 75 minutes, the hosts finally got a well-deserved equaliser when Felix Torres scored from a corner.

Alisson, Roldan, and VAR’s night was not over. The Liverpool goalkeeper conceded a last-minute penalty and received a second card.

He was however saved by another review that overturned the original decision.
