According to reports, Elizabeth Lyn Vargas wasn’t hurt in the incident.
According to reports, police in Newport Beach, California were summoned to a house allegedly belonging to Elizabeth Lyn Vargas. This was allegedly to investigate an alleged “felony” crime.
According to the Los Angeles Times, three suspects had surrounded the house and were finally arrested.
According to TMZ, one of the suspects is believed to be Vargas’ ex-boyfriend.
According to TMZ, the former reality star was not hurt and was not held hostage.
The incident began at 1:50 p.m. and was made public by police via a Nixle alert to residents. “The Newport Beach Police Department currently engages in police activity near Balboa Blvd W & Medina Way. “Please avoid the area until further notice,” The alert states.
According to the Times, the first suspect was taken into custody at 7:40 p.m. and the second suspect was captured by SWAT officers shortly thereafter.
According to the newspaper, the nature of the alleged crime is not known.
Property records indicated that the house belonged to Vargas, but Heather Rangel (a spokesperson for the Newport Beach police) did not confirm this information, according the Times.
Vargas was a cast member on Season 15 of “The Real Housewives of Orange County”, in 2020. It was revealed last year that Vargas, along with castmates Kelly Dodd (and Braunwyn Windham–Burke) would not be returning to the show for the next season.
This alleged incident occurred at the home of the ex-TV housewife. It comes amid an increase in home invasions in Los Angeles over recent months.
Three burglars took Dorit Kensley, “Real Housewives of Beverly Hills”, at gunpoint in October at her Encino Hills home in California. Kemsley had two children, Jagger (7 years old) and Phoenix (5 years old), inside. Nobody was hurt.
