“I was in a relationship for seventeen years with a wonderful man”, she declared without saying more about the identity of the latter: “We tried, it did not work, I did not I didn’t insist. In life, I never force anything,” she said. Regarding her desire to have children one day, Frédérique Bel does not close the door to adoption: “Maybe one day, at 50, I will adopt lots of children like Angelina Jolie. . In the meantime, I took a dog!”.
If today the actress is considered one of the beauties of French cinema, this has not always been the case as she had assured in an interview with Here. “I was squinting and I had my teeth in front … I was not packing too much at the time”, she confided so well that she did not keep any photo of her during her childhood and adolescence : “I tore up all my photos. I don’t have any left from the period between my 5 and 18 years. But I don’t regret it, because it was really excruciating. That’s why I do comedy, I think. I’ve always approached my physique as something fun, and I’ve never taken myself seriously. Now, I’m trying to fix myself. I’ve been working out, I’ve a little cheated like everyone else, and I pretty much got what I wanted”.
