Mehdi Bousaidan, Korine Côté, Marie-Soleil Dion, Varda Étienne, Marie-Lyne Joncas, Jean-François Mercier, Guillaume Pineault and Billy Tellier will take part in the new game show More or Less Miserable, which will be hosted by comedian Ève Côté.
Entrants will be paired with one of these personalities to guess which rating was given to various embarrassing situations and videos — completely goofy true stories that have been rated by experts in human behavior. These experts gave these situations a score between 0 and 100, based on three elements: the physical pain experienced, the emotional shock and the long-term psychological impact.
The contestant who makes the best predictions after viewing the featured photo and video archive will be eligible to win up to $3,000.
This Quebec adaptation of the American show The Misery Index, itself inspired by the card game Sh*t Happens, will be broadcast on Noovo this fall. It is produced by KOTV, in collaboration with Bell Media, and filming has just begun.
