In Montreal, the big show at Maisonneuve Park will bring together a dozen well-known artists on stage, starting at 8 p.m. on June 24. Marjo, Garou, Isabelle Boulay, Mélissa Bédard, FouKi and P’tit Belliveau will be festivities, hosted by Pierre-Yves Lord. Can’t be there? The show will be broadcast on television on ICI Radio-Canada and TVA, as well as on radio, CKOI and Rythme FM. Earlier in the day, the traditional parade will unfold in the metropolis. Departure will be on boulevard Saint-Joseph Est, at the corner of rue Molson, at 1:30 p.m.
Once again, the Plains of Abraham will vibrate to the sound of music by local artists, on June 23, starting at 9 p.m. For the occasion, Émile Bilodeau will be surrounded in particular by Louis-Jean Cormier, Laurence Jalbert, Patrick Norman, Muzion, Kanen and Antoine Gratton. Activities for the whole family will precede the big show in the afternoon, on the plains and on the Grande Allée. The group Vulgaires Machins will warm up the crowd from 7 p.m. It will also be possible to watch the show from home on Télé-Québec.

In Longueuil, the festivities begin on June 23 on rue Saint-Charles with performances by Sarahmée at 8 p.m. and Clay and Friends at 9:30 p.m. 30 p.m. Elsewhere in Montérégie, you can hear Radio Radio in Chambly, Kim Richardson and Jonas in Salaberry-de-Valleyfield, Hubert Lenoir in Saint-Jean-sur-Richelieu and Lisa LeBlanc in Beloeil.

To pay tribute to Michel Côté, who passed away on May 29, the Cinéma Moderne is presenting three films free of charge starring this great actor. On National Day night, moviegoers can see (or rewatch) Au clair de la lune, Le vent du Wyoming and C. R. A. Z. Y. The Market of Possibilities is back this year at Entrepôt 77, on Avenue Bernard Est. This Saturday afternoon, young and old will be able to participate in a collaborative weaving project. Dance and music will also be on the agenda with Shake La Cabane, a “monthly party for ravers aged 0 to 99”. In the evening, DJ Oonga and his guests will be inspired by the national holiday. The day before, the BBQ will be in the spotlight during the season opening celebrations. The Market of Possibilities offers a host of free activities on weekends, from June 23 to September 24.
The fifth BleuBleu festival in Carleton-sur-Mer will offer an enticing program from June 22 to 25. Located on the north shore of Baie des Chaleurs, in Gaspésie, the city will host, among others, Les Louanges, Greg Beaudin and Rau_Ze for the National Day show on June 23. The evening will end on the beach to the sound of Quebec classics. The next day, traditional Acadian music by Alex and Caro then 1755 are on the program. Other artists invited by co-founders Anne-Julie St-Laurent and Myriam-Sophie Deslauriers include Marie-Pierre Arthur, LaF and Joe Grass. An artisan market, creative workshops, beach games and yoga on the mountain are some of the other activities offered.
