(Osaka) Paris Saint-Germain has authorized the Saudi club Al-Hilal to discuss with Kylian Mbappé to offer a transfer for compensation of 300 million euros (nearly 440 million dollars) for the French team, we learned Monday from a source close to the negotiations.
“PSG has given permission to Al-Hilal to negotiate with Kylian Mbappé on the basis of a 300 million euro transfer,” a source familiar with the negotiations told AFP.
PSG received a letter from the Riyadh club with a firm offer and a request for permission to offer Mbappé a contract. However, such a transfer could only be made with the agreement of the player who has never expressed an interest in the Saudi Arabian championship, unlike what he has been able to do in the past with Real Madrid.
According to the same source, many European clubs have shown interest since Friday evening and the announcement that the player was not going on an internship in Asia with PSG, paving the way for a sale of the Parisian star, at the end of the contract and therefore free in a year.
“Several clubs are getting creative and offering packages that include a top player in the balance plus a transfer,” the source said. “It opens the market to more clubs. »
Al-Hilal’s offer is purely financial.
