(Tomaszów Mazowiecki) Laurent Dubreuil, from Lévis, collected a second silver medal this season at the Long Track Speed Skating World Cup on Saturday.
Dubreuil clocked 34.70 in the 500m, finishing seven hundredths of a second behind winner Tingyu Gao of China.
Wataru Morishige of Japan finished third, with a time of 34.82.
Dubreuil also obtained the money in Beijing last month.
In the Olympiad, Dubreuil reached the second step of the podium in the 1000m last year, in Beijing.
In 2021, he was crowned in the 500m at the World Single Distance Championships.
