A children’s birthday party in the city center of Kaiserslautern caused a heated discussion among adults on Sunday afternoon.
The children’s loud celebrations were met with little enthusiasm by the neighbors, who complained to the parents. The conversation developed into a dispute in which a 47-year-old neighbor insulted and threatened the 40-year-old father of the family.
The neighbor, in turn, did not take the statements lying down and also made threats against the neighbor. The police patrol that was called in was able to calm the quarrelers down. The officers filed charges against both parties. The investigation is ongoing.
