The Quebec eco-responsible clothing brand Rose Buddha is changing its name to Rose Boréal. The brand is launching a new website and a new visual identity to better match its evolution and its customers.

“Rose Buddha has been around for seven years. We started out as a yoga clothing brand, which we still are, but we expanded our horizons to become a sports brand. The name change came naturally, to reach a broader clientele,” explains Maxime Morin, co-founder and CEO of Rose Boréal, in an interview. “Rose Boréal’s customers are active women who like to move and who wear sportswear in their everyday lives,” she says.

The brand has always favored eco-responsible materials such as recycled plastic and natural fibers. “I live in Morin-Heights, in the forest, I am attached to nature, to the territory, and it is part of Rose Boréal’s values to protect the environment. We make quality, sustainable clothing with recycled materials,” she explains.

Rose Boréal wants to develop an international clientele (the vast majority of its clients are in Quebec and increasingly in the rest of Canada) and is targeting the United States. “Taking care of yourself is part of the philosophy of Rose Boréal customers, regardless of the country they live in, we are targeting the American and even European market. We support women in all seasons, with comfortable clothing that is designed for women on the move, every day, without being in performance,” she concludes.
