A 19-year-old was beaten and kicked by a group of about eight young people in Stuttgart.
The man was taken to hospital with minor to moderate injuries, a police spokesman said on Saturday.
According to the report, the 19-year-old was out with an acquaintance on Saturday night when the two were initially attacked by two young people.
According to the police, the acquaintance managed to escape and the 19-year-old was knocked to the ground by the attackers. Then around six other youths came along and kicked and beat the 19-year-old as he lay on the ground. A fanny pack was snatched from the 19-year-old and the unknown perpetrators fled.
