Manitoba RCMP seeks driver responsible for injuring teen in hit and run incident in RM of St. Clements
Manitoba RCMP is currently on the lookout for the driver of an SUV who was involved in a hit and run accident that resulted in the injury of a young teenage girl in the rural municipality of St. Clements just last week.
The incident took place on Old River Road near the intersection of Danko Drive, where two young teens, one walking and the other on a scooter, were struck by the vehicle. The driver of the SUV stopped briefly, rolled down a window, but then fled the scene. The girl on the scooter was taken to the hospital for treatment and has since been released.
Described as a black SUV or car with tinted windows, the vehicle was reportedly driven by a man in his 20s or 30s wearing a baseball cap. The authorities urge anyone with information regarding the hit and run to contact Red River North RCMP at 204-668-8322.
