JoJo Siwa Stars in New Horror Film ‘#AMFAD: All My Friends Are Dead’
‘#AMFAD: All My Friends Are Dead’ premieres at the Tribeca Festival before hitting theaters Aug. 2
Published on June 6, 2024, at 10:00 AM EDT, JoJo Siwa takes on a new dramatic role in the upcoming slasher movie #AMFAD: All My Friends Are Dead.
In an exclusive clip shared with PEOPLE, the 21-year-old “Karma” singer is seen running through the woods in character while another character talks about friendship in a cryptic voiceover.
The movie follows a group of young friends who find themselves trapped at an Airbnb after a mishap on their way to a music festival called Karmapalooza. As they are stuck indoors, their past and internal conflicts come to the surface. To make matters worse, an uninvited guest joins them and decides to punish them for their sins by brutally murdering them.
The cast of the film includes Jade Pettyjohn, Jennifer Ens, Ali Fumiko Whitney, Michaella Russell, Julian Haig, Justin Derickson, Cardi Wong, and Jack Doupe-Smith. Directed by Marcus Dunstan, known for his work on ‘Unhuman’ and some of the ‘Saw’ movies, the screenplay was written by John Baldecchi, Jessica Sarah Flaum, and Josh Sims.
#AMFAD: All My Friends Are Dead will premiere at the Tribeca Festival on June 8 before being released in theaters, on digital platforms, and on demand on August 2.
