The prophet Samuel anoints David, an unlikely outcast teenager, as the new king at God’s command. As David navigates love, loss, and violence within Saul’s court, he is destined to replace the current ruler.

The talented cast of “House of David” also includes Indy Lewis as Mychal, Yali Topol Margalith as Mirab, Ethan Kai as Jonathan, Oded Fehr as Abner, Louis Ferreira as Jesse, Davood Ghadami as Eliab, and Ashraf Barhom as Doeg. Production for the series is currently taking place in Greece.

The series is a collaboration between Wonder Project, Amazon MGM Studios, Nomadic Pictures, Argonauts, Kingdom Story Company, and Lionsgate Television.

Erwin expressed his excitement for the project, stating, “‘House of David’ is our telling of a 3,000-year-old hero’s journey, and it all starts with our David, Michael Iskander.” He praised the entire cast and looks forward to sharing their talents with a global audience.
