Bugatti is preparing the world presentation of its latest creation from a lineage launched by the prodigious Veyron in 2005. A direct descendant of the Chiron, this new model, which will be unveiled on June 20, marks an important mechanical change, while enhancing the character exceptional of its thermal engine.

As is customary before the launch of such a prestigious creation, the details communicated by Bugatti are for the moment fragmentary. However, we know that this supercar will feature an all-new engine, a naturally aspirated and hybrid V16 that will end the reign of the phenomenal quadraturbo W16 that powered the Veyron and Chiron for nearly 20 years.

The German magazine Auto Motor und Sport states that this mechanism was developed by the engine manufacturer Cosworth and will have a volume of 8.3 L in addition to the tachometer which reaches 9000 rpm. All this while also being a plug-in hybrid.

Hopefully we will have the answers to our – many – questions soon.
