The two major outdoor shows by drag artists – those from here and those from elsewhere – will be held on the same evening this year, on August 9 at the Olympic Park esplanade.
Hosted by Barbada, the MajestiX show will feature no fewer than 70 local artists on the same stage.
And as if that wasn’t enough glitz, personalities from the television competition RuPaul’s Drag Race will then show the crowd that they “sachay shantay”, under the auspices of Rita Baga.
Hawaiian Sasha Colby, queen of the 15th season of RuPaul’s Drag Race – and honorary co-president of Fierté Montréal this year – will be there.
