There was a serious accident in Switzerland. The driver was injured and the Ferrari was a total write-off.
An accident occurred last Saturday, June 15, at 7:50 p.m. on the A2 motorway in Switzerland. The driver suffered moderate injuries. The Ferrari was a total write-off, causing damage of around 500,000 francs (around 523,000 euros), the police wrote in a press release.
The driver (61) is said to have lost control of the car on the wet road shortly before Silenen. The reasons for this are not yet known. The 61-year-old “collided with the right-hand guardrail, skidded against the central guardrail and finally came to a stop in the middle of the road,” the police said.
The injured man was taken to the Uri Cantonal Hospital by the emergency services. The accident involving the high-powered sports car also caused damage to the traffic facilities. The damage amounts to around 20,000 francs (around 21,000 euros).
