An Indiana man, Timothy Ray Lisby, 59, is facing serious charges after allegedly stabbing his own son, Christopher Allen Lisby, 31, in the heart during an argument over dirty dishes in the sink. The incident took place on June 14 in a mobile home on Dogie Road in Indianapolis. Timothy Lisby is currently being held without bond on an initial charge of aggravated battery, but a family friend who witnessed the altercation believes that murder charges should be brought against him.

According to the witness, Jeremiah Green, the father and son were arguing over a pile of dirty dishes when they began wrestling on the floor. Timothy then allegedly grabbed a spoon and started stabbing Christopher with it. After Christopher asked Green to intervene, Timothy reportedly grabbed another sharp object from the kitchen and thrust it into his son’s chest.

Green called 911, and when police arrived at the scene, they found Christopher with a bleeding wound to the chest. He was rushed to the hospital, where he underwent surgery for a lacerated heart but tragically succumbed to his injuries the following day. Despite the severity of the situation, Timothy attempted to render first aid to his son, urging him not to die.

Green, who considered Christopher a close friend, expressed deep sorrow over the incident and vowed to testify against Timothy in court. He emphasized the pain he felt witnessing his friend bleed profusely and ultimately losing his life. Green is determined to seek justice for Christopher and ensure that Timothy faces the consequences of his actions.

Timothy Lisby is scheduled to appear in court on June 21 for his involvement in the stabbing incident. The case has been turned over to homicide detectives for further investigation, and the legal proceedings are ongoing. The tragic event has left a community reeling, with friends and family grappling with the loss of Christopher and seeking closure and accountability for his untimely death.
