A German holidaymaker was arrested in Mallorca for allegedly abusing his partner. The police were impressed by his size.
The police in Mallorca have arrested a German tourist who is said to have abused his partner, as the “Mallorcazeitung” reports.
Guests of the hotel where the 21-year-old and his 18-year-old girlfriend were staying had complained about noise coming from their room. The man had several loud arguments with his 18-year-old girlfriend in his hotel room, the news agency dpa reported. The police then arrested the man – and were amazed at his size.
The 21-year-old is two meters tall, weighs 120 kilograms and wears shoe size 50, the police wrote in a press release on Thursday, according to dpa. Because of his unusual size, two handcuffs were even necessary to take him away. The police provided pictures of the arrest.
According to the “Mallorcazeitung”, the young woman decided not to press charges and asked to be allowed to return to Germany as soon as possible.
