In Bad Oeyenhausen, a young man was attacked by a group and critically injured. His companion only suffered minor injuries. The police homicide squad is investigating.
A 20-year-old man was critically injured in an altercation in Bad Oeynhausen (in the Minden-Lübbecke district). According to the public prosecutor’s office and the Bielefeld police, the young man and his 19-year-old companion got into an argument with a group of around ten men in a park on Sunday night.
The unknown men hit and kicked them. One of them then dragged the 20-year-old away from the group and continued to attack him. When witnesses alerted the police, the men fled.
The 20-year-old’s life is in acute danger due to multiple, severe head injuries, the police wrote. The 19-year-old suffered minor injuries. A homicide squad has begun investigations.
