There was a serious accident in Munich early on Sunday morning. A BMW crashed into the pillars of a building and was completely destroyed. The car itself called the emergency services and the occupants were injured.

The driver lost control of his vehicle and crashed into a building pillar on Maximilianstrasse, corner of Karl-Scharnagl-Ring in Munich. The emergency call function of the BMW sedan detected the accident with two people in the vehicle and alerted the fire brigade and the emergency services.

When the rescue team arrived at the scene of the accident, the two occupants had already left the vehicle. The crew members of an emergency ambulance and an ambulance took over the care of the two approximately 24-year-olds. Due to his injuries, one of the two young men had to be transported to a hospital.
