Five people were injured in the explosion of an incendiary device on a row of shops in Solingen. A suspect was himself seriously injured in the detonation, dpa learned from police sources on Tuesday. Four other people were slightly injured. The injured have not yet been identified. According to the “Rheinische Post”, an unknown person is said to have thrown “a bomb-like object” into the building. The target was apparently an arcade located in the building.
