In Dülmen in North Rhine-Westphalia, a car collided with a school bus. A child and the driver were seriously injured.
For unknown reasons, a car and a school bus collided head-on near a railway underpass in Dülmen on Thursday morning.
The driver was seriously injured and taken to hospital by rescue helicopter, said a police spokesman. There were 29 children on the school bus. One child was seriously injured, three children slightly.
The children are being looked after in a nearby sports hall. Parents and relatives have been informed, said the spokesman. It was initially unclear whether there were any other injuries.
