Alabama Football Dominates Wisconsin in Historic Matchup at Camp Randall Stadium
Alabama quarterback Jalen Milroe put on a dazzling performance on Saturday as the Crimson Tide made a rare regular season trip north of the Mason-Dixon line to face the Wisconsin Badgers. Milroe showcased his skills by finishing the game with three passing touchdowns and two rushing touchdowns, totaling 75 yards on the ground. His outstanding performance helped lead Alabama to a commanding 42-10 victory at Camp Randall Stadium.

Wisconsin quarterback Tyler Van Dyke unfortunately had to exit the game early due to an injury sustained during a scramble. Van Dyke was seen clutching his right knee at the end of the run and was eventually carted off the field into the locker room. Despite watching the second half from the sideline with the assistance of crutches, Van Dyke’s absence was felt by the Badgers.
Braedyn Locke stepped in for Van Dyke and managed to throw for 125 passing yards, including a 3-yard touchdown pass to Will Pauling. However, Wisconsin’s efforts fell short against the dominant performance of the Crimson Tide.
This matchup marked the first time Alabama had visited Madison since their 15-0 loss to Wisconsin in 1928. On the other hand, Wisconsin experienced their most lopsided home defeat since a 48-7 loss to Penn State in 2008.
Alabama running back Jam Miller, who contributed a touchdown on a 34-yard run, credited the team’s offensive line for their strong performance. Miller praised the unit, stating, “That group was amazing today, just seeing them move guys and creating holes for the running back and making a big pocket for the quarterback. It made a difference. It was great to see what they can do.”
Wisconsin head coach Luke Fickell expressed his disappointment following the blowout loss, acknowledging the pain of defeat. Fickell addressed his team, saying, “If you haven’t had your behind whooped before, you just did. It hurts. It’s not easy. But in this game, that’s going to happen. It’s part of the game. It stinks. It doesn’t mean you didn’t work hard. It doesn’t mean you didn’t prepare. It means you didn’t get the job done.”
