Bellefleur will have a second season. Crave has ordered a sequel to the series by Sarah-Maude Beauchesne and Nicola Morel, which won the hearts of several viewers this spring.
Portraying a tight-knit group of friends in their thirties, the romantic comedy directed by Jeanne Leblanc has been relayed by Crave over the past month, at a rate of two episodes per week. The finale will be posted online on Thursday.
The first season of Bellefleur tackles several themes, including parenthood, illness, and adultery. It features faces known and less known to the general public, including Guillaume Laurin, Maxime de Cotret, Marc-André Grondin, Guillaume Cyr, Jean Bui, Sarah-Jeanne Labrosse, Marilyn Castonguay, Sarah-Maude Beauchesne, Charlotte Aubin, Nathalie Doummar, Antoine Yared and Florence Blain Mbaye.
