Alec Baldwin was involved in a controversial incident on the set of the movie “Rust” in 2021, as per new documents obtained by Fox News Digital. Prosecutors accused Baldwin of reckless behavior with a firearm and displayed erratic and aggressive behavior during filming. Baldwin’s legal team retaliated by claiming prosecutorial misconduct, citing the disclosure of thousands of files and withholding important documents.
The court denied Baldwin’s arguments regarding the grand jury process, as prosecutors alleged that he mishandled the firearm by discharging it after filming and placing his finger on the trigger unnecessarily. Baldwin was also accused of rushing crew members and being inattentive during firearm training sessions.
In a separate incident, armorer Hannah Gutierrez Reed was convicted of involuntary manslaughter for her role in the fatal shooting on the “Rust” set. Prosecutors suggested that Baldwin may have been negligent in handling the weapon minutes before the tragic incident.
