Mexico recorded a 1-0 victory against Jamaica and has three points as do Ecuador, who beat the Reggae Boyz 3-1.

Mexico faces Ecuador in Glendale, Arizona on Sunday, while Venezuela faces already eliminated Jamaica in Austin, Texas.

Venezuela ended a 13-game winless streak against El Tri.

The penalty was awarded when Julián Quiñoned pushed Aramburu into the penalty area.

Alomón Rondón sent his kick to the right of goalkeeper Julio González, who dived to his left.

Rondón scored his 42nd goal in 107 appearances.
