(London) Former British world number one Andy Murray said on Sunday he was “not 100% sure” whether he would take part at 37 in what would be his fifth Olympic Games this summer in Paris.

“I’m not 100 per cent sure,” Murray told reporters at the Queen’s Club in London, wearing a Great Britain team tracksuit.

The Queen’s tournament begins Monday.

“It will depend on my physical condition in the coming weeks. Yes, my goal is to play [in Paris] but it’s not easy, he continued. I will know more in about ten days about the double. I hope that “Evo” [Dan Evans, Editor’s note] and I will have the opportunity to be associated.”

The British Olympic Committee announced at midday that Murray, double gold medalist at the London Games in 2012 and Rio in 2016, was included in the British selection for the next Games with Jack Draper, Cameron Norrie and Dan Evans.

Katie Boulter will represent Great Britain in the women’s draw at the Paris Games, while Joe Salisbury and Neal Skupski will play the doubles.

Three-time Grand Slam winner, Andy Murray is now 97th in the world and has hinted that he will retire from sport in the coming months.
