Three new performances of the musical Notre-Dame-de-Paris were announced on Tuesday August 11 and 12 at Salle Wilfrid-Pelletier at Place des Arts. These dates are in addition to the nine performances that will already take place starting August 2.
In addition to Montreal, the largest American city will also offer 27 performances in French of the famous musical at Lincoln Center in New York. The team then hit the road to the Quebec metropolis, before finishing their tour in Paris for the celebration of the 25th anniversary of the play. In 2022, Notre-Dame-de-Paris welcomed more than 100,000 spectators across different Canadian cities.
Cast artists include Daniel Lavoie, Elhaida Dani, Angelo Del Vecchio, and Martin Giroux.
Notre-Dame-de-Paris is signed by Luc Plamondon and Richard Cocciante, based on the work of Victor Hugo, and has, to date, more than 5,000 representations in 20 countries. Performed in nine languages, this show has attracted more than 11 million spectators around the world since its creation in 1998.
