In Gera, a group of young people attacked a 14-year-old boy. They beat him, choked him and insulted him. The police are investigating 20 suspects.
The 14-year-old boy sits almost motionless on a park bench in Gera while several children hit him in the head with their fists. While he doesn’t defend himself, the attackers continue to attack him. The attack only ends when passers-by approach. To make matters worse, the incident was captured on video. The “Bild” newspaper reports on this.
The incident occurred on June 11 in the Bieblach district on Wartburgstrasse. “According to preliminary investigations, the youth station in Gera is currently investigating more than 20 suspects between the ages of 12 and 15,” a police spokeswoman told “Bild”.
The attackers are of Afghan and Syrian origin. They are being investigated for assault, coercion and insults, among other things. The 14-year-old is German. Fortunately, he only suffered minor injuries in the attack. He suffered redness and swelling in his face.
The reason for the dispute could be a rivalry between several groups of different nationalities, the police further reported.
