Democratic strategists and advisers close to President Biden are expressing worries about the direction and leadership of the campaign as the November election approaches. A Democratic strategist who is in touch with the Biden campaign mentioned that there is uncertainty about how President Biden and his core team plan to defeat former President Trump, if they have a plan at all. This lack of clarity is concerning for those observing from outside. Some advisors feel hesitant to voice their concerns during meetings, especially in the presence of Biden’s most trusted aides, for fear of being seen as disloyal.

Biden’s former chief of staff, Ron Klain, who left his position in early 2023, expressed confidence in Mike Donilon, a key adviser to Biden. Despite reports of doubts from officials and Democratic strategists about the campaign’s strategy for November, some Biden advisers disputed these claims, emphasizing that the team has a detailed case for the president’s re-election.

As the 2024 election approaches, Biden’s support among different demographic groups is showing a decline. Polls indicate a decrease in support from Black voters, with only 70% supporting Biden in 2024 compared to 86% in 2020. On the other hand, Trump has been able to increase his support among Black voters, rising from 7% in 2020 to 21% in 2024.

The Biden campaign, when asked for a response, directed Fox News Digital to the statement provided to Axios. It is clear that there are internal concerns about the campaign’s strategy and direction, especially as the election draws nearer. The team will need to address these issues and work on a clear plan to secure victory in November.
