CAA Appoints Emma Banks, Darryl Eaton and Rick Roskin as Co-Heads of Global Touring
In a significant development for the touring industry, Creative Artists Agency (CAA) has named Emma Banks, Darryl Eaton, and Rick Roskin as co-heads of global touring. The trio’s appointment aims to oversee the department’s expansion globally, managing over 340 employees across various sectors such as music, comedy, podcast touring, brand partnerships, tour marketing, private events, and opportunities in film, television, and books.
This move comes as a part of CAA’s strategy to enhance its presence in the touring sector, with the trio set to build on the foundation laid by CAA veteran Rob Light, who has led the global touring division for over 25 years. Light has recently taken on the role of CAA Managing Director, collaborating with other company leaders to steer the agency’s overall strategic direction.
Notable clients under CAA’s touring umbrella include The Weeknd, Harry Styles, Katy Perry, Dua Lipa, John Mayer, Lady Gaga, and many more. Over the past year, CAA has facilitated bookings for more than 38,000 shows, solidifying its position as a powerhouse in the industry.
Emma Banks has been instrumental in leading CAA’s London music office, while Eaton and Roskin have been serving as Co-Heads of Contemporary Music for North America since 2015. With decades of combined experience, the trio is poised to drive CAA’s touring division to new heights.
Rob Light expressed his confidence in the newly appointed co-heads, emphasizing their track record of leadership and success. CAA Co-Chairman and CEO Bryan Lourd also commended Banks, Eaton, and Roskin for their contributions to the agency, highlighting their respected positions within CAA and the industry at large.
