The Colorado Avalanche won’t play until at least Thursday following a third participant was put into the NHL’s COVID protocols Fridaythe league announced.
Three matches have been postponed now: contrary to the Los Angeles Kings on Friday and Sunday and contrary to the St. Louis Blues on Tuesday.
The NHL said in an announcement which, pending evaluation results, the Avalanche could reopen their centers for training Wednesday and play Thursday against the Blues.
The Avalanche had canceled their Friday morning prior to the postponement statement. They’d canceled the skate two times in the last week, on April 9 and Wednesday, but had played that night twice.
