Barkley tore his ACL last season in the second game.
Eli Manning might be retired from football but he is still active on Twitter.
Former New York Giants quarterback, he is keeping up with his teammates’ progress this year and on Thursday he responded to Saquon Barkley’s crazy physique while having a bit of fun at himself.
Manning replied to Barkley’s photo, which showed his famously toned legs, “Please Stop Photoshopping My Legs onto Your Body,” Manning stated.
Barkley injured his right knee in the second game last season. He has been recovering for several months. Barkley is still unknown, with Giants training camp less than two weeks away.
Earlier this month, he said on “The Rich Eisen Show” of the NFL Network that he is continuing his recovery “day-by-day.”
After the Giants selected Barkley with the No. 2, Barkley was named the 2018 AP Offensive Rookie Offensive of the Year. Barkley was the 2nd pick in the draft. He’s rushed for 2,344 yard and 17 touchdowns in three years. He has caught 149 passes, totaling 1,219 yards with six touchdowns.
