An accomplice couple in the city as on the screen. It was in 2015 that Philippe Lacheau and Élodie Fontan met for the first time on a film set. While the actress burst the screen at the cinema in What did we do to the good god and on television in Clem, the actor would have flashed on her before offering her a role in Babysitting, the sequel to their crazy adventures in Brazil.
“He was a friend before the shooting. The question did not arise”, confessed Élodie Fontan to Purepeople in 2016. For the actress, “Philippe is a very good director” and a “very good director of actors”. No wonder the love at first sight was mutual between the two stars before living their romantic idyll. For seven years now, they have not left each other, even on film sets.
With the gang of Fifi, also composed of Tarek Boudali and Julien Arruti, the couple worked on other comedies such as Alibi.com (2017), or Nicky Larson and the perfume of Cupid (2019), broadcast in particular this summer on M6. Asked by Purepeople, Philippe Lacheau confided his pleasure to work with his half in his films. “You save time because you don’t take gloves, you go straight to the point, you say what is good or not”, assured the actor-director to our colleagues in 2019.
Juggling between professional career and private life, Philippe Lacheau assures that this does not pose a problem for him, specifying on the contrary “to be very lucky”. However, the actor and his companion want to preserve their privacy. Parents of a little Raphaël born in 2019, the couple is nevertheless very present on social networks and does not hesitate to reveal their funniest and most accomplice photos. In early 2023, the actress unveiled for the first time a nice shot of their child.
