The minister of Inclusion, Social Security and Migration, José Luis Escrivá, has admitted on Thursday that the template of the Social Security goes through a “difficult situation” due to lack of staff and has advanced that the Government is preparing a further reinforcement of its human resources in the budgets of the institution by 2021.
As has been expressed by the minister in response to a question from the media during a visit to Palma, in which he has given the reason to the unions about their grievances to the collapse of the offices. In this sense, Escrivá has indicated that “last week were created 550 new spaces in the Social Security”.
Escriva explained that this reinforcement want to confront the “deficit” staff who drag the Security Social after “years” in which “you have not strengthened, nor have covered the vacancies”.
The minister made this announcement during the vieje conducted to Palma de Mallorca this Thursday to be questioned by the complaints of the trade unions by overexertion performed by the officials of the Social Security, who has praised his dedication.
Sources of his department have clarified that the start of the process for the incorporation of these 550 new workers into the administrative body of the Social Security has been authorized by the Ministry of Territorial Policy and Public Function.
