Esker Cycles Unveils New Titanium Hardtail Mountain Bike

Esker Cycles has recently introduced their latest addition to their hardtail mountain bike lineup, the Smokey Ti. This new model is described as the most aggressive hardtail bike ever produced by Esker, featuring a 64.5 degree headtube angle and geometry optimized for a 160mm suspension fork. The frame of the Smokey Ti is made from seamless, butted, and cold-shaped 3/2.5 titanium, ensuring both durability and comfort for riders.

One of the key features of the Smokey Ti is Esker’s Portage Dropout System, which now includes a Universal Derailleur Hanger (UDH). This system allows the frame to accommodate geared or singlespeed drivetrains, as well as adjust the chainstay length for a customized ride experience. Additionally, the bike includes external cable routing, a threaded bottom bracket, and a 44mm head tube for ease of maintenance and durability.

The Smokey Ti offers ample tire clearance, fitting up to a 2.6″ tire, and provides four different water bottle and accessory mounting positions, including a 3-pack mount on the downtube. Pricing for the Smokey Ti starts at $2500 for the frame only, $3100 for the frame with fork, and complete builds starting at $4500, with options for upgrades available. Single speed builds are also offered starting at $4200.
