Estelle Dossin also has the right to love. Since 2019, the expert has been trying to bring together single people from all over France on the show Married at first sight. A clinical psychologist and psychoanalyst by trade, she puts her scientific knowledge into practice to help candidates find love in the program.
In the columns of Télé 7 jours, Gilbert Bou Jouadé’s partner confided in the reasons which led her to take part in the show: “At the very beginning, there was a real intellectual excitement. In psychology, the question of love compatibility has been explored since the 1930s, it has always been at the heart of concerns. It is therefore exceptional for me to be able to participate in a life-size experiment on the subject, and which makes the whole profession think.”
Married at first sight is a program that has conquered the hearts of French viewers. But, the concept of compatibility sometimes remains vague in their eyes and the program remains shrouded in mystery. With our colleagues, the expert provided some details behind the scenes. “It’s a long process, very time-consuming and… very secret! Viewers sometimes doubt, wonder if the bride and groom meet before the ceremony… And the answer is no. They have no information, don’t know each other, do not exchange. They simply have an appointment with the notary – because it is a real marriage – where they hear the sound of their voice. “, she explains to our colleagues.
On the private side, Estelle Dossin also succumbed to love at first sight. Planet invites you to discover the face of his companion, in pictures, in our slideshow.
