Euro 2024: Aleksandar Pavlović Misses Germany Training Session

The Germany national football team, under the management of Julian Nagelsmann, had a full squad of 26 players present at their training session ahead of their Euro 2024 opening game against Scotland. However, Aleksandar Pavlović was notably absent from the training session at the Adi Dassler Stadium in Herzogenaurach. The Bayern Munich player was unable to join the team due to an infection, as confirmed by the DFB.

Following their victory against Greece, Nagelsmann granted the players some time off to spend with their families before the upcoming match. Players like Toni Kroos and Ilkay Gündogan took the opportunity to return to their respective clubs for a brief break.

Pavlović, who was called up to the national team in March, missed out on previous matches due to illness but made his debut against Ukraine recently. It is uncertain when he will rejoin the squad, but there are three more training sessions before Germany’s first match against Scotland on Friday, June 14th.
