The very first edition of the Four Nations Showdown, which will pit hockey players from Canada, Finland, the United States and Sweden, will take place in Montreal and Boston in 2025.

The Bell Center and the TD Garden in Boston will host the tournament next February, the National Hockey League (NHL) and the National Hockey League Players’ Association (NHLPA) announced Saturday afternoon by the through a press release.

“It is an honor for us to welcome some of the best players in the world here at the Bell Centre,” commented France Margaret Bélanger, president of Groupe CH, on ‘hockey history,” she continued.

The Four Nations Showdown matches will be broadcast exclusively in North America by TVA Sports, Sportsnet, ESPN, ABC and TNT Sports.
