The cast of the major tribute show to Jean-Pierre Ferland, which will be presented in two weeks on the main stage of the Francos, has been revealed.
For this event entitled The Little Kings, artistic director Ariane Moffatt brought together a whole range of artists, a dozen in all, from several generations: Hubert Lenoir, Marie Denise Pelletier, Martha Wainwright, Vincent Vallières, Marie-Pierre Arthur, Thierry Larose, Ariane Roy, Lou-Adriane Cassidy, the Karkwa gang, Adib Alkhalidey, Soleil Launière and Patrice Michaud.
All these beautiful people will dig into the immense repertoire of the singer-songwriter who died on April 27 at the age of 89, and will bear witness to the influence of his music on theirs. The free show will take place on Place des Festivals on June 18 at 8 p.m.
