Glass Animals Unveil New Summer Hit “A Tear In Space (Airlock)”
Glass Animals, the popular indie band, has dropped a brand new single titled “A Tear in Space (Airlock)” as a part of their upcoming fourth studio album, I LOVE YOU SO F***ING MUCH. The release comes after the band’s announcement of their Tour of Earth earlier this year.
The song is accompanied by a captivating black-and-white music video directed by Taylor Fauntleroy and Drew Kirsch. The video features lead singer Dave Bayley navigating through an industrial wind tunnel, adding to the overall moody vibe of the track.
In addition to the new single, Glass Animals had another reason to celebrate as their previous hit “Heat Waves” recently achieved RIAA Diamond certification, making them the first international alternative band to receive this honor.
As fans eagerly await the release of I LOVE YOU SO F***ING MUCH on July 19, which consists of 10 tracks all written and produced by Bayley, the band continues to explore themes of existential crisis and global stardom in their music. The album delves into Bayley’s personal journey of grappling with fame during the pandemic-induced lockdown.
