During the second half of May 2023, temperatures were below seasonal averages. However, this weekend, temperatures are rising again thanks to the extension of an anticyclone over France. A “northeast wind has cleared the sky in the north of the country”, underlines Météo France. From this Friday, May 26, 2023, the feeling will be summer in several departments.
After a locally cool morning this Friday, clearings in the plains and lots of sunshine are expected in the northern regions. The afternoon promises to be hot for the whole of France with maximum temperatures around 25°C, predicts La Chaîne Météo.
This Pentecost weekend 2023 will be generally sunny. With a forecast average of 25.9°C, this Saturday May 27 will be the hottest day since the beginning of the year (along with April 28 and May 4), according to La Chaîne Météo. Seasonal normals will be exceeded by 2°C.
North of the Loire, the mornings will remain cool but the feeling will be summery in the afternoon with temperatures between 23 and 25°C. South of the Loire, the weather will be fine with 30 to 34°C. The feeling will be all the warmer when there is little wind. Discover in our slideshow below the summer temperatures at home this Pentecost weekend.
