Leonie is a saleswoman in a lingerie store and describes how she is repeatedly sexually harassed at her workplace.
Lingerie saleswoman Leonie has opened up about her experiences with sexual harassment in the workplace. She tells “heute.at” about men who harass her and her colleagues on the phone. “Men call and ask what underwear we have and what I like to wear – of course they always call with a hidden number,” Leonie told “heute.at”. She no longer accepts calls with a hidden number.
Even in the store itself, saucy incidents are not uncommon. For example, a customer asked her to try on a piece of lingerie for him so that he could get a better idea of what it would look like.
The young woman recently described a particularly unpleasant encounter in detail in a TikTok video: “Many customers come with their husbands as companions, that shouldn’t be a problem, but unfortunately it often is,” she begins. “A couple came, the woman picked out bra models and went into the changing room.” Meanwhile, the man wanted to walk through the store with the saleswoman to find a few other models.
“He then took a bra and held it in front of him at the level of my breasts,” says Leonie. “The first time I thought it was an unpleasant coincidence, but then it happened twice more.”
From then on, she simply ignored the man. “I just feel sorry for the woman, because I would absolutely not want my husband to imagine a woman 20 years younger than me in a bra,” she concludes, describing the incident.
Lots of sun and rising temperatures are now the order of the day again. If you drive a lot, you’ll probably rely heavily on the air conditioning in your car. Not without reason, as it cools significantly more and faster than leaving the windows open while driving. But you should still be careful.
The Erzgebirge district is throwing Ukrainians out of their housing to make room for other asylum seekers. Those affected fear for their existence and the Refugee Council has sharply criticized the approach.
